Femi Gbajabiamila was born on June 25, 1962, he is 61 Year’s Old, In Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is the third child of his parents, Lateef and Olufunke Gbajabiamila. He attended Igbobi College in Lagos for his secondary education and later proceeded to King William’s College on the Isle of Man, United Kingdom, where he obtained his Advanced Level GCE certificate.
After his studies in the UK, Femi Gbajabiamila returned to Nigeria and enrolled at the University of Lagos, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in law. He proceeded to the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree.

Femi Gbajabiamila started his legal career in the United States, where he worked with several law firms, including the Law Offices of Femi Gbaja & Associates, LLC, and the Gbaja-Biamila & Associates law firm. He returned to Nigeria in 2003 and ventured into politics.
In 2003, Femi Gbajabiamila contested for a seat in the House of Representatives under the Alliance for Democracy (AD) party but lost.
