Naba Das Biography, Naba Das was a prominent politician in India who served as one of the most influential members of Patnaik’s cabinet and in Odisha’s political scene. The first time that Naba Das tried to enter the assembly, in 2004, he ran on the Congress ticket from Jharsuguda’s seat.
However, the second time that he stood, in 2009, he was successful and entered the legislature. He was re-elected in 2014 on the Congress ticket, and he held the position for a record third time after winning the elections in 2019 on the BJD ticket. He was the third person to hold this position.

Naba Das Death
Naba Kishore Das, Odisha’s Health and Family Welfare Minister, was fired at by an assistant sub-inspector of police in Jharsuguda district on Sunday. Das was shot in the chest and was taken to the hospital.
The minister is reported to be in critical condition. He is being taken to Jharsuguda airport, from which Das would be flown to Bhubaneswar. The health minister will be sent to Apollo hospital for additional treatment.
When the minister stepped out of his car in Gandhi Square, the cop fired at least four to five shots. Locals grabbed the accused, ASI, and gave him over to the police.
The event occurred in the district’s Brajrajnagar town while the minister was on his way to a meeting. ASI Gopal Das was identified as the cop. The exact reason for the termination has yet to be determined.
