William Kipkemboi Ruto Biography, William Kipkemboi Ruto has been appointed as the new Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) managing director. William Kipkemboi Ruto takes over from John Mwangemi, who has held the position in an acting capacity since 2022, and will serve for the next three years.
He is a veteran sailor who began his career in the KPA in 1991 as a Cadet Marine Deck Officer. He rose through the ranks before becoming General Manager, Operations, and later a Harbor Master. Until this appointment, he was the General Manager of Kisumu Port.
